Safety Technology

The Safety Technology program enables to participant to become aware of the safety demands set out by industry regulators which may included environments such as oil and gas refineries, shipyards, and other maritime environments. Participants will be engaged in learning skills and practices as a safety tech. Participants will be immersed in using positive safety communication, hazard recognition, environmental awareness and occupational health. Participants will also be instructed in job safety analysis and pre-task planning. This 305 hour course covers how to conduct safety inspections, audits and employee safety observations. Participant will also be instructed in incident investigation, permits and policy requirements, OSHA inspections and record keeping.
