Combination Pipefitter-Welder
The 955-hour Combination Pipefitter-Welder program prepares students for careers in a maritime environment, which may include oil refineries, chemical and power plants, and shipyards and surrounding areas. With a concentration in the maritime industry and the fabrication and installation of piping systems, this program provides a comprehensive understanding of the skills needed for a combination pipefitting-welding career.
Combination Structural Fitter-Welder
The 917.5 hour Combination Structural Fitter Welder program prepares students for careers in welding precision manufacturing, welding exotic steels, and other careers related to welding. It is intended to amplify students’ welding ability in advanced structural welding with an inert gas process. With a concentration in the maritime industry and the production of building materials for related construction projects, this program teaches essential skills, attitudes, safety practices, and competencies for a combination structural fitter-welder career.
Intermediate Maritime Structural Pipefitter
The 305-hour Intermediate Maritime Structural Pipefitter program prepares students for pipefitting careers in a maritime environment which may include oil refineries, chemical and power plants and shipyards and surrounding areas. With a concentration in the maritime industry and the fabrication and installation of piping systems, this program provides critical competencies in pipefitting and safety.
Advanced Maritime Structural Pipefitter
The 710-hour Advanced Maritime Structural Pipefitter program prepares students for careers in a maritime environment which may include oil refineries, chemical and power plants and shipyards and surrounding areas. With a concentration in the maritime industry and the fabrication and installation of piping systems, this program provides advanced knowledge of maritime pipefitting, including piping systems, materials, procedures, and relevant maritime applications.
Intermediate Welder
The 592.5-hour Intermediate Welder program prepares students for careers in welding precision manufacturing, pipe welding, exotic steels welding, and other careers related to welding in a maritime environment which may include oil refineries, chemical and power plants and shipyards and surrounding areas. This program amplifies students’ welding ability in advanced pipe welding with an inert gas process and develops basic knowledge, competencies, and skills in welding.
Advanced Welder
The 1,265-hour Advanced Welder program prepares students for careers in welding precision manufacturing, pipe welding, exotic steels welding, and other careers related to welding in a maritime environment which may include oil refineries, chemical and power plants and shipyards and surrounding areas. This program amplifies students’ welding ability in advanced pipe welding with an inert gas process. In addition, this program delivers advanced instruction in essential welding skills, attitudes, safety practices, and competencies.
Intermediate Pipefitting
The 322.5-hour Intermediate Pipefitting program prepares students for careers in pipefitting in refineries, gas plants, fabrication shops, and shipyards. The curriculum is designed to amplify students’ pipefitting ability in advanced pipefitting and pipe-welding with an inert gas process. In addition, the program develops essential skills in every aspect of pipefitting, from drawings and detail sheets to safety practices, tool use, and essential processes.
Advanced Pipefitting
The 665-hour Advanced Pipefitting program prepares students for careers in pipefitting in refineries, gas plants, fabrication shops and shipyards. The program amplifies students’ pipefitting ability in advanced pipefitting and pipe-welding with an inert gas process and develops skills in areas such as reading drawings and blueprints, using tools of the trade, engaging in crew leadership, maintaining safety protocols, and implementing best practices.
Field Safety
The 310-hour Field Safety course enables participants to become aware of the safety demands set out by industry regulators. Participants will learn best practices involved in all aspects of safety within the work environment by using a curriculum recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
Safety Technology
The 305-hour Safety Technology program enables participants to become aware of the safety demands set out by industry regulators for relevant work environments. Participants will be engaged in learning skills and practices as a safety tech, instructed in job safety analysis and pre-task planning, and instructed in incident investigation and relevant requirements, as well as in permitting, OSHA inspections, and other essential topics.
