Pipe Welding Seminar

The Pipe Welding Seminar prepares students for careers in welding precision manufacturing, pipe welding, exotic steels welding, and other careers related to welding in a maritime environment which may include oil and gas industries, fabrications shops, shipyards and surrounding areas. The curriculum is designed to amplify students welding ability in advanced pipe welding with an inert gas process. The students will learn to develop skills, attitudes and competencies in welding processes and best safety practices including how to use Shielded Metal Arc Welding for open root pipe welds and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding for carbon steel, low alloy, stainless steel and aluminum pipe.
