Maritime Pipefitting Seminar

The Maritime Pipefitting Seminar prepares students for careers in a maritime environment which may include oil refineries, chemical and power plants and shipyards and surrounding areas. The concentration of this program will involve maritime industry and how piping systems are fabricated and installed. Upon successful completion of exam, student will be able to understand the maritime pipefitting trade, solve a wide variety of pipefitting math problems, understand hand and power tool safety and proper usage, describe the procedures and safety practices related to oxyfuel cutting and how to identify different types of ladders and scaffolds and their safe usage.
