Field Safety
The Field Safety course enables to participant to become aware of the safety demands set out by industry regulators. Participant will learn best practices involved in all aspects of safety within the work environment which may include shipyards, fabrication shops, oil and gas refineries and other maritime environments. National Center for Construction Education and Research’s (NCCER) Field Safety curriculum has been recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). The successful completion of this 310 hour course will enable to participant to understand best safety practices for confined spaces and excavations, electrical procedure safety, working from elevation and with steel erections. Participants will also be instructed in effective writing skills which include report writing, trades math and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
