Structural Welding Seminar

The Structural Welding Seminar prepares students for careers in welding precision manufactured elements and other careers related to welding. The successful completion of this seminar will enable participant to find employment in fabrication shops, shipyards, ocean-going vessels and surrounding areas. The curriculum is designed to amplify students welding knowledge of welding symbols, reading welding detail drawings, Flux Core Arc Welding and Gas Metal Arc Welding on plate. The students will learn to develop skills, attitudes and competencies in welding processes and best safety practices, learn base metal preparation and determine weld quality.
